Select PDF or EPUB
If an ebook is available in both PDF and EPUB format, the reader displays the PDF only. You have no chance to display the EPUB format. It would be very helpful for mobile device to have the opportunity to select which format should be displayed and downloaded.

Referral Statistics
We would find it helpful if there is a way to get referral statistics for Ebook Central under LibCentral's self-service options. This would benefit institutions looking at the various ways they're providing access to Ebook Central titles, and are hoping to get statistics to see how library users are discovering and linking to ebook holdings.

Allow for greater interplay between price and number of additional copies in Extended Access
We would like to be able to control the number of additional copies purchased relative to the price of the title. If we have a price cap of $500 on the purchase of additional copies and the purchase of an additional copy falls well beneath that price cap, we would like the opportunity to increase the limit on the number of additional copies purchased.

Bisac classification in LibCentral as well
Since end of 2018 patrons have a more specific subject filter (BISAC) for search results. This would be helpful for DDA profiing and title searching in LibCentral as well.

Pay for ebook purchased by credit card
Please create an option to pay for each ebook purchase with a credit card, rather than being invoiced. This would greatly improve the efficiency of our workflow and likely increase our utilization of the ProQuest eBook Central platform in our library. Thank you!

Provide option to remove Ebook Central "Download Book" button
Provide option to remove the "Download Book" button from Ebook Central UI. Clicking this button results in PQ wanting access to my Adobe Digital Editions account, which does not live on my laptop computer. I’m fairly certain Digital Editions does not live on very many computers anymore. It would be very nice if this particular download option could become either our option for display, removed, disabled, or at least moved way down to the very bottom of the page. My preference would be to have the ability to either enable/disable from the admin area. The button also should communicate that…

Export of Patron Request List
It would be great to be able to export the List of all items in Patron request(patron comments etc.) in an CSV file.
It would help librarians to analyse the comments and to communicate to stakeholders5 votesThank you for your suggestion. DDA Budget Tracker
With some of our other suppliers with which we have placed deposits, we are able to monitor a live dashboard which changes in terms of the value of the remaining deposit(s) every time a payment is taken from it in relation to usage. That's what I'm hoping might be possible at some point with our ProQuest DDAs but I'm not expecting it to be made available any time soon, just providing some hopefully useful feedback.

Ebook Central Upgrade Report
Create a report that can be routinely pulled in LibCentral that provides --turnaway data, unique access data, highest owned license, highest available upgrade, current price for highest available upgrade, upgrade path and Is the title included in any subscribed products. A report such as this will help with making ebook upgrade decisions in bulk on a routine basis.

Change Full Download Options
The behavior for downloads is confusing. If you download a chapter, you get a PDF document. When you are downloading the book and are offered a selection of e-Pub and PDF, no matter what you chose, you always get an .acsm file for Adobe Digital editions to retrieve the information. Students do not understand that the only thing you are choosing is how the scrolling will be: e-pub (side to side) and PDF (up and down). They are looking for a PDF document. Solution - Add descriptors? Change the choices? Change choices from e-pub & PDF to:
- Side-to-side scrolling…5 votesThe Ebook Central team has reviewed this idea and this work has been planned on our short-term roadmap. Thank you for your feedback and support.

Include upgrade prices in LibCentral reports
It's really easy to get current new-purchase prices for a group of books: get their docids, run a title match, and the Excel report includes each book's current prices for each available license. It's really hard to get current upgrade prices: you have to open a book's LibCentral page, click the upgrade buttons, record the prices, and repeat for every book. The other day, I needed to find unlimited-access upgrade prices for 727 books, and it required most of my morning. Since the system knows the upgrade price, would it be that hard to add to a report? Just add…

Add a 'Recent additions' carousel along with the 'Recently viewed' one
We regularly purchase additional titles to our package and we would like to promote those to our patrons. We are a specialised library and it would be good to be able to highlight those titles that have been chosed specifically for our patrons. Other e-book platforms have such carousels in place.

Do not send mediated alerts when there are no options for upgrade
Currently, Ebook Central will send a mediated alert via email when a user was unable to access a limited-concurrency title. This alert will be sent regardless if the ebook is available for upgrade or not.
My suggestion for enhancement is to offer an option to either 1) send the mediated request or 2) treat it as a turnaway when the title in question is not available for upgrade

Invert colors for accessibility
Those with dyslexia and eyesight problems have difficulty reading when the background is white and the letters are black.
The online reader overrides the desktop inverse color for the reader, so it's not possible for me to invert the colors in the reader--so it's very difficult for me to read the text in the reader.
For greater accessibility, it should be possible to invert the colors. Thanks!5 votesThank you for your suggestion for improving Ebook Central. We will keep this in mind for future consideration. Highlight Holdings in differnt colour
In LibCentral (and also in patron portal) it would be very helpful, if holdings/owned titles would be highlighted in a different colour.
Currently owned, DDA, ATO titles are all highlighed yellow. For a better distinction it would be useful to highlight owned titles in a different colour.5 votes -
