Show Digital Course Reserve flag on order confirmations
Would it be possible to include something in order confirmation emails to show that a purchased title is a Digital Course Reserve title. The current DCR flag on Oasis is quite small so staff may not always note that the title has restrictions on use. It would therefore be useful to be able to easily pick up any DCR titles via the order confirmation.

Add selected titles from a list to your cart before ordering
Currently you can only add an entire list to your cart. Our institution would like the ability to add selected titles from each list to a cart in order to place an order. Currently, Ebsco and Midwest both have a function where certain users have the ability to suggest purchases and one user can actually place the order from the other users lists/carts.

Newer edition available flag
There should be a newer edition available flag to prevent people ordering older edition eBooks when newer editions are available. Why are the older edtions there anyway.

Automatically prevent purchasing multiple Unlimited Access copies of the same book
Please automatically prevent purchasing multiple Unlimited Access copies of the same book.
Also when sending removal list of titles or any other promotions to customers for possible purchase, please de-dupe this list against our holdings. I do not need to review titles that we have already purchased as UU. These lists should also include a note if a newer edition is available and whether or not the title is in our current dda pool and/or eligible for dda.

Improve pricing transparency
Some publishers such as Elsevier or Springer multiply the base cost of the ebook. On LibCentral the price shown is not what we end up getting charged for in these cases. Could you calculate the actual cost of the ebook at the point of ordering? That way we can assess whether we want to purchase the ebook at that price or not. For example, we recently purchased one ebook for $57.51 but when the email confirmation came it was for $115.02 as Elsevier charges twice in that case.

invoice
Since some resellers are obliged to print out invoices for the accounting departement, it would be great if the invoices could be reduced to as few pages as possible. This would save tons of paper and therefore help save the planet :)

Remove Non-Linear from current upgrade hierarchy; give it its own setting.
We have auto-upgrade enabled, with the expectation that a title will upgrade from one stable limited-user model to the next: 1u->3u->UU. Currently, NL is included in the auto-upgrade hierarchy: 1u->3u->NL->UU.
This is really inappropriate; NL is a very different sales model from the other three, since you can run out of uses. It's especially problematic if overuse of a 3u has triggered the upgrade - that indicates really heavy use, and really heavy use will run down an NL license very quickly - thus potentially replacing 3u access with no access at all. That's not an "upgrade".
NL is, however,…

Be able to select which user model to upgrade - not always the lowest access model.
When choosing to upgrade via LibCentral, and if you already have more than one user model (e.g. a 1U and a 3U), we need to be able to select which model to upgrade. i.e. Be able to chose if you upgrade the 3U or the 1U depending on your needs. Currently you can only upgrade the lowest access model. if an unlimited becomes available, you must first upgrade the 1U instead of being able to upgrade your 3U (and therefore pay a smaller upgrade price).

Reconciling invoice payments into DDA deposit account more seamlessly
Recently our finance department paid a proforma invoice - I had to chase Proquest as the payment wasn't showing in our deposit account for nearly 3 weeks? This also happened with the previous deposit invoice. Can the process be made more seamless from your side so that deposit payments made into deposit accounts show immediately?

Make EDI ordering and invoicing available on EBook Central
EDI ordering and invoicing is a key workflow process and making this possible via EBook Central would improve workflows and processes hugely.

Pay for ebook purchased by credit card
Please create an option to pay for each ebook purchase with a credit card, rather than being invoiced. This would greatly improve the efficiency of our workflow and likely increase our utilization of the ProQuest eBook Central platform in our library. Thank you!
