Automatic delivery of scheduled ETDs
Allow Administrators to schedule delivery of etds and have them sent to ProQuest automatically on the scheduled date.

Customization of revision emails
(1) The ability to make multiple boilerplates for revision requests. My revision requests are always related to 1 of 4 things, so every time I have to request revisions I paste in relevant info. Having a handful of customizable options (including being able to have different subject lines for each), so I could choose the relevant note from a list instead, would be very handy;
(2) Automatic insertion of record info in the boilerplate subject lines. To avoid getting a ton of emails with identical subject lines, I edit the subject by hand. Automatically piping the author's surname (or, ideally,…

Make tags visible to my whole team.
I use the ‘tag’ feature to identify different graduation terms and those ETDs that should not be published until a later time. These tags make my work and groups of submissions easy to organize, but others in my office cannot see these same tags. You need to make the tags visible to all administrative users at one school so we can work together.

Add authenticated ORCID iD functionality to ETD Administrator
Currently, the form field for ORCID requires manual entry of an ORCID iD. This leaves room for error and typos, and does not allow for transfer of data between ORCID and the ETD system.
ProQuest should build in an option for institutions to either use the Public or Member ORCID API to gather authenticated ORCID iDs along with the ETD submissions, thereby ensuring that the ORCID iDs collected are accurate.

Checklist Page-Check All Option
On the checklist page, is it possible to add a "Check All" box option at the top of the page. It is time consuming and annoying to have to individually check off 25 boxes (for our particular list).

Add a a saved default feature in the "Fields to include in the report" section for running reports.
I would like to be able create a saved configuration option in the report section, so that I don’t need to select the fields I need each time I run a report

Allow students to communicate with the ETD Administrator within the ProQuest ETD Administrator
Currently students need to direct questions regarding requested formatting changes outside the ProQuest ETD Administrator via an external email account. This requires the administrator to look in two different places (the PQ Administrator) and their email account to properly respond to formatting questions.

Prevent student from submitting ETD if embargo is requested and and embargo document isn't uploaded to the submission
Some schools require students to upload a signed approval form to the Administrative Documents page when requesting a ProQuest or IR embargo. These institutions would like to have a rule making upload of the Administrative Document required iff the student has requested an embargo.

Allow custom text to be added to the top of the IR publishing options page, as is currently an option for the University IR Agreement page

Send confirmation email when students submit revisions
Confirmation emails are being sent to students who submit their manuscript for the first time. However, they are not currently sent any confirmation when they submit revisions. This is one of the most frequent questions I get regarding ProQuest ETD Admin. Students expect to get an email when they submit revisions because they got one the first time and may panic when they do not. Increase active area of "View all admin notes" link
For a number of years, going back to the days when Marlene Coles was with ProQuest, I kept asking that the active area for the link "View all admin notes" (in the 'Admin notes: ' box ) be made larger. As it is, the text is small, the link is small and you have to VERY CAREFULLY get the mouse on the active area of the link to be able to click it. We make extensive use of the 'Admin notes:' and I spend half my time trying to click the link. I don't expect anything to be done, but…

Allow Administrators to see uploaded copyright forms on the Summary Page.
It would make it easier for me to make sure that students are submitting their supplemental copyright forms, if I could see it from the summary page instead of hunting through the tabs.

Add note advising students not to use institutional email address
Students sometimes enter their institutional email, which often expires very soon after graduation. Requiring an address that isn't from the institution (via some kind of validation), or at least reminding them to use one, would be very helpful.

Adding additional Decision Statuses to Register Decision function
It would be verify helpful to have more options that "Minor Revisions Required", "Major Revisions Required", and "Accept" as the Decision options. Having at least one option such as "ProQuest requirement complete; Additional requirements pending" is needed. Students quite often have requirements outside of the ProQuest system that must be completed before we can finalize their dissertation in the ProQuest system but they have already completed the revisions in ProQuest. When students see "Minor Revisions Requested" as the status on their already revised dissertation, it is extremely confusing to them.

Add support for, or integration with, an author tool that would allow me to focus on creating quality content, and worry less about formatting.

Status for inactive Admins
I would like to remove inactive Admins (left university system, no longer in role, etc) from the available admins to assign ETDs to, but I can continue to see the history of the work that those inactive Admins performed.

Add note under the Institutional Student ID field
We’ve seen some cases where a student has entered in the wrong text instead of their correct Harvard ID number. Will you please add a note under the Institutional Student ID field that says, “Harvard HUID”.

Support for Undergrad Capstone Submissions
Allow ETD Administrator to handle undergrad capstone submissions. Make changes to remove Masters and Doctoral teams, workflows to reflect undergrad requirements.
