Add document upload functionality to administrative documents page
The administrative documents section is intended as a spot to upload university-specific documents, but there isn't a way to attach documents in the prompt. Consider adding an "attach" function so that admins can add blank versions of the document to the prompt (so that it is easily accessible to students, instead of requiring hyperlinks in the prompt, or for students to have to retrieve it elsewhere.

Accommodate pre-2005 Submission & Acceptance Dates
In the ProQuest proforma for thesis submission and acceptance, the date boxes only go back to 2005. I could not enter my date of 1999.

Provide more information on Creative Commons options to help Authors and Site Administrators determine which CCs are appropriate
Creative Commons licensing can be very confusing for Authors. Having additional information to explain the various licenses, as well as university recommendations (if any), would be helpful.

Allow customization of print order cover
When ordering a printed copy of my ETD, I would like to customize the text that shows on the printed cover. This would allow me to change my name or modify the title of my work.

Allow students to change name for delivery of copy order
Posted on behalf of Indiana University: When a student orders a bound copy, the system demands that their name be left in the top field. If the bound copy comes to my office, it works out because they simply put our address in the remaining field and we are still able to receive the bound copy without issues but this is creating a far larger problem. That mailing address is then being forwarded to the US Copyright Office for those students who place a formal copyright on their dissertation and the notification of the copyright is sent to my office,…

Additional View of Copyright Permissions
As an admin user I would like the ability to see the copyright permission docs that a student uploads in the ETD details page. Currently in order to see if copyright permission docs have been uploaded, an admin needs to go to Revise PDF. To determine if copyright permissions have even been uploaded you need to do this step for every student. Once the PDF is deliver “Revise PDF” is disabled and then you are no longer able to see any of the copyright permissions a student uploaded

Add Drilldown Menu to Degree Section
On the Dissertation/Thesis Details page, add item to narrow by degree type (masters or doctoral) before student selects degree awarded (e.g., M.S., M.A., etc.)

Allow Schools to Receive Standing Order invoices via email
Invoices for standing orders through ETD Admin are currently sent by postal mail.

Currently, the committee review feature requires all committee member to approve the submission.
Provide schools with the flexibilty to select a subset of the committee members (e.g., only the committee chair) to be added to the committee review dashboard.2 votes -
Include replacement option for changed/deleted department names
If you change/delete a department name, all the submissions that had it end up with a blank department field. Having an option for all those submissions to either retain the old department info, or to get a new name that the user enters as free text (like "Old Department (Legacy)") would be great.

It is sometimes necessary to see all our locked submissions in one place, but currently this filter is not available.

Add filters to dashboard for programs.
It would be nice to be able to fiilter results in the ETD dashboard to view the impact of different programs. Allowing users to filter by "Degree Awarded" and "Department" would be a good way to do this.

ETD Admin Reports - Report Management
As an ETD administrator, I would like to be able to save reports with a set of selections that I choose so that I can run this report again without having to re-create it. I would also like to be able to edit the report and save these updates, or save a modified report with a different name.

Allow for non-traditional / non-pdf File Types as main file
For graduate programs that have a movie or audio file as the primary output of the program, I would like to have that file be the primary file. Currently the ETD Administrator workaround of putting in "placeholder" pdf and including the main file as a supplemental file does not meet my needs.

Provide an option to notify (email) the student when their submission is assigned to an administrator
Provide the option to automatically email the student (perhaps through a check box) when their submission is assigned to another administrator.
