Allow students to change name for delivery of copy order
Posted on behalf of Indiana University: When a student orders a bound copy, the system demands that their name be left in the top field. If the bound copy comes to my office, it works out because they simply put our address in the remaining field and we are still able to receive the bound copy without issues but this is creating a far larger problem. That mailing address is then being forwarded to the US Copyright Office for those students who place a formal copyright on their dissertation and the notification of the copyright is sent to my office, not to the student.

Thank you for adding this for us, Alison. I was unable to at the time. In addition to students sending bound copies to my office, they also send bound copies to faculty members, relatives, and even employers at the time they initially submit their dissertation. This means that the address sent to the UGS copyright office could be that of family, former faculty, or employers - students may never receive the notification from the US copyright office, as a result.
