Increase active area of "View all admin notes" link
For a number of years, going back to the days when Marlene Coles was with ProQuest, I kept asking that the active area for the link "View all admin notes" (in the 'Admin notes: ' box ) be made larger. As it is, the text is small, the link is small and you have to VERY CAREFULLY get the mouse on the active area of the link to be able to click it. We make extensive use of the 'Admin notes:' and I spend half my time trying to click the link. I don't expect anything to be done, but…

Create ETD Submission Windows
We have very strict dates during which students can submit their thesis or dissertation each term. It would be nice to be able to set up submission start/end dates so that students can submit their ETD only during that term's submission window. However, students who already made a submission within the window but require additional changes outside that window, should be able to continue making updates until the admin approves the ETD.

Automatic delivery of scheduled ETDs
Allow Administrators to schedule delivery of etds and have them sent to ProQuest automatically on the scheduled date.

Accommodate pre-2005 Submission & Acceptance Dates
In the ProQuest proforma for thesis submission and acceptance, the date boxes only go back to 2005. I could not enter my date of 1999.

Status for inactive Admins
I would like to remove inactive Admins (left university system, no longer in role, etc) from the available admins to assign ETDs to, but I can continue to see the history of the work that those inactive Admins performed.

Provide more information on Creative Commons options to help Authors and Site Administrators determine which CCs are appropriate
Creative Commons licensing can be very confusing for Authors. Having additional information to explain the various licenses, as well as university recommendations (if any), would be helpful.

Leave Feedback Icon issues on a small screen
I am currently using a laptop with a small screen, and frequently have two or more windows visible at one time. With the reduced window width, the leave feedback icon blocks part of the view of my application.

Make tags visible to my whole team.
I use the ‘tag’ feature to identify different graduation terms and those ETDs that should not be published until a later time. These tags make my work and groups of submissions easy to organize, but others in my office cannot see these same tags. You need to make the tags visible to all administrative users at one school so we can work together.

Allow Administrators to see uploaded copyright forms on the Summary Page.
It would make it easier for me to make sure that students are submitting their supplemental copyright forms, if I could see it from the summary page instead of hunting through the tabs.
5 votesthink what you are requesting is that that status of copyright permissions forms be presented in the ETD Admin dashboard for your review. This is an interesting idea!

Allow students to communicate with the ETD Administrator within the ProQuest ETD Administrator
Currently students need to direct questions regarding requested formatting changes outside the ProQuest ETD Administrator via an external email account. This requires the administrator to look in two different places (the PQ Administrator) and their email account to properly respond to formatting questions.

ETD Admin Reports - Generate reports across multiple sites
As an ETD primary administrator I would like to be able to manage reports across multiple sites at the same time. This means I could apply all report management options such as change report structure, naming, and running of reports easily by setting up the same report to run across multiple sites.

Add support for multiple authors of a dissertation
ETD Administrator currently has a 1:1 relationship between submissions and authors. I have a need to associate multiple (2 or more) authors with a single dissertation.

Assist in discovering relevant works, citations
Add support for a citation networking tool that would aid me in my discovery and authoring process.
- use filters to identify relevant citations
- visualize citation network to show where my works are cited, what works are relevant to my studies
- be able to export network information for standalone use

"At A Glance" Summary Of ETD
It would be helpful to have a feature that provides a bit more information than an abstract, so that I can determine if a dissertation or thesis is of interest to me without needing to read the entire publication.
Would contain things like
- chapter summaries
- thumbnails of tables or figures
