Add note advising students not to use institutional email address
Students sometimes enter their institutional email, which often expires very soon after graduation. Requiring an address that isn't from the institution (via some kind of validation), or at least reminding them to use one, would be very helpful.

Adding additional Decision Statuses to Register Decision function
It would be verify helpful to have more options that "Minor Revisions Required", "Major Revisions Required", and "Accept" as the Decision options. Having at least one option such as "ProQuest requirement complete; Additional requirements pending" is needed. Students quite often have requirements outside of the ProQuest system that must be completed before we can finalize their dissertation in the ProQuest system but they have already completed the revisions in ProQuest. When students see "Minor Revisions Requested" as the status on their already revised dissertation, it is extremely confusing to them.

Allow students to communicate with the ETD Administrator within the ProQuest ETD Administrator
Currently students need to direct questions regarding requested formatting changes outside the ProQuest ETD Administrator via an external email account. This requires the administrator to look in two different places (the PQ Administrator) and their email account to properly respond to formatting questions.

Link in Re-submission email generated by ETD Admin.
In addition to the link, add the text "or log into your ETD Account to re-submit your revised manuscript. Students will often try to use the link after it has expired and email asking for a new link.

Provide an option to notify (email) the student when their submission is assigned to an administrator
Provide the option to automatically email the student (perhaps through a check box) when their submission is assigned to another administrator.

upload multiple files at once
When we register decisions, we often attach multiple documents to our emails for students (such as formatting notes and the various paperwork they need to complete) so that they receive this all at once as part of their ETD processing.
Currently, you have to browse/select/attach each individual file. A multifile upload option so that we could select multiple files to upload at the same time would be greatly appreciated.

Info in notification emails to etd admin administrators
ETD school admin has requested that, in the email notifying them of specific publications, we include the name of the ETD site to which it was submitted. In the case of schools with multiple sites (ie, sites for different colleges/departments), this would be helpful to organize submissions.

Frequently Used Phrases
Many times, I find myself typing out the same formatting guidelines many, many times when sending revision information to students. It would be great if we could save commonly used text (including hyperlinks/images) that we could quickly insert into the email template.
Even better would be to have the ability to save this text as rich text, so that we had a fully pre-formatted statement saved that we can then use without having to reformat it once it is inserted into the template.

Separate metadata details in email templates
It would be useful to have separate metadata tags for [Student First Name] and [Student Last Name], as some universities will list the student last name first in these emails.

Update Merge Field Verbiage in Email Template Editor
I LOVE having the ability to edit my own email templates! THANK YOU!
To make these new screens more user-friendly, I have some suggestions for updating language for merge fields that the end-user can include in their templates.
I have uploaded two image files that describe, in more detail, the request I have. Primarily, I want to request to distinguishing what exactly the merge fields are, and updating language slightly to more clearly define their intended use/output for the end-user.
