Given the large quantity of titles that are only available as limited licenses, it is critical that we enable users to return early. Our library is working to educate campus about how to manage limited licenses by not downloading the book, but this information is very difficult to disseminate. ProQuest needs to enable this function for their users, it is very odd that this is not already built into the system.

This is a very problematic model, particularly for limited-licensed ebooks and I am shocked that EBC feels inclined to claim the notoriety of being the first in the industry. This is not good for patrons and it is not good for libraries. The icon is tiny and there needs to be a much larger and more obvious note that you are purchasing a course reserve title.
