Academic users really need page numbers for Ebooks that correspond to print page numbers.
Academic users really need page numbers for ebooks (in your "EBook Central") that correspond to printed page numbers. If I can't find the actual page number from searching text fragments in Google Books (which is an annoying workaround), then the ebook has limited usefulness.

Ebooks, particularly in the EPUB format, use reflowable text, allowing the text size to increase or decrease depending on the size of your screen. As a result, the amount of text on each page can change and pagination may vary from print books.
EPUBs are provided to Ebook Central by publishers and are becoming the preferred industry standard due to their accessibility features and versatility for diverse reading needs.
