When students do everything right, except there's an extraneous space in the ORCID, or they enter it as a URL rather than just the digits, having them fix it takes much more time than it would to just let admins, who have power to change everything else anyway (save for an order), do it.

Thank you for the idea. Where in the workflow would you want to discuss with the administrator?
An error occurred while saving the comment It could be at various times through the workflow, any time from the initial submission until the admin accepts it. It's not just formatting quesitons--I regularly have to write to students for other reasons too, and my email gets filled with those mails very quickly. Having the entire correspondence history attached to the record would be very convenient.

We are reviewing updates to our tag feature to allow for global management of tags and sharing of tags across users.
An error occurred while saving the comment I'm curious: For publication delays, do you tag with the exact publication date, the length of the embargo, or some other info? It's an interesting idea but I worry about having way too many tags.

think what you are requesting is that that status of copyright permissions forms be presented in the ETD Admin dashboard for your review. This is an interesting idea!
If you do institute the API lookup, it would be good to still allow us to edit the name field. Very few students seem to use the same name for the record, and for their ETD title page.
