Highlight reason for turn-away on eBook's landing page
Many students do not take the time to scan the page (much less read it). When a s student is unable to access a book, all information is irrelevant, EXCEPT the information that I have highlighted. The student will not care about title, author, publication date, etc. They only care about accessing the book, and if they can’t access the book, they are ONLY interested why not & what else they can do. I suggest you highlight this information so that students know why they could not access the book, and what other options they have to proceed from here.

Patrons can sign up for alerts
Ability to sign up for notification when an ebook is available again, especially for one user titles.
One user ebooks should allow users to sign up for notification when an ebook is available again on the platform. Useful tool especially for the academic institution that uses the text in the curriculum as recommended reading where we know demand is high.180 votes -
Modify the label of "Settings" and "Language"
My client suggests it's hard for them to get back to original language settings from other language settings.
Because they can't understand the meanings of other language label.
So I have 3 options to resolve the issue.
1.Put English menu next to original label. Ex. 設定:Settings, 使用言語:Launguage
2.Put images to each menu. Ex. Gear mark for Settings, globe mark for Language
3. Place a language setting menu to top page menu bar like a Web of science.
These would help clients to understand the meanings intuitively.1 vote -
Allows users to move an ebook from one bookshelf to another
Users can copy an ebook to another bookshelf and remove the ebook from a bookshelf; both of these functions are very useful. A useful addition would be the option to move an ebook from one bookshelf to another, without having to copy it and then remove it from the original bookshelf.

Enhance Show More Option in EBC Facets
When clicking on Show More under facets, we end up with tens and sometimes hundreds of options and need to scroll down and down in order to collapse the options again! Please make the options available in a better way like the options in Summon where we can select multiple options at the same time easily.

Patrons are notified when their 5 minute browse expires; Patrons are notified when a book is available
Over-the-license-limit-ebook access
ProQuest allows patrons to use an e-book with limited licenses to have 5 minutes of access even if no license is available. I would suggest that such users get a notification that they have "limited" access to the book and a count-down click to show them the remaining access. If a license becomes available during those 5 minutes, a pop-up window can appear to inform them that they now have full access. If the five minutes are up, the patron should have the option to enter an e-mail or cell phone number to receive notification when a license…13 votes -
Add clear 'x' or delete all 'x' in the search box
A delete all 'X' in the search box would allow users who input the name of a book or several search terms to more quickly delete all text.

Customizable Purchase Hierarchy
We would like the ability to customize our autopurchase hierarchy, because our preference of Access Model does not match the Purchase Hierarchy for Ebook Central
Also, we require the ability to exclude select Access Models so they are never purchased.

Keeping the search string in the search box until done, with a 'clear search' option
Keep the wording of a search in the search box for ease of editing and reminding oneself of the search. Also suggest a 'Clear search' button for when done.
Alternatively, make the 'Edit search' option bigger, clearer and easier to find. It took me a while to even notice it was there, I had to keep typing out my searches again and again.
Thanks.
