Refine Your Search by Publishers
We need a search facet of publisher at "Refine Your Search" in LibCentral.
To promote ease of use in searching and improved report results when filtering by publisher, please look in your library’s LibCentral Acquisition Catalog Advanced Search, Publisher filter to see a more refined, cleaner list of publishers to search by. This same list carries over to the Title, Usage and Expenditure report publisher filter search. To add additional benefit to the reports, expect to see the exact publisher name in the reports display, allowing for better results when analyzing the report output.

Thank you Rayna. Now I can see clearer list of publishers in LibCentral Acquisition Catalog Advanced Search. Is this feature also put on the left hand side of search result page?

Currently searching for titles of a publisher like Wiley in LibCentral is a bad expirence: you have to enter some publishers names dozens of times (Wiley e.g. over 50 times!) to get all results/title by such publisher. This also occurs with other publisher like Springer, OUP. However, adding publishers also takes secondes becuse the side obviously needs to reload this section.
Please improve the system, so you have to add publishers name only once or twice into search and drop down the delay while entering publisher names. -

I find the Publisher selection in the advanced search screen to be very frustrating. For most common publishers, there are multiple results with the exact same name and I never know what the differences are or whether I need to select all of them to get complete results.
If you do need to select more than one, you have to type the name again. For something like Springer, which currently has four entries that only say "Springer" and dozens of variations, that can mean typing Springer over and over again to be able to select what you want to search.
I'd prefer that either publisher names were simplified so that a search for Springer would include all variations or that it was possible to just check some boxes next to the many variations to multiple select.

I want to select multiple publishers at once in Advanced Search when some options are indicated such as Elsevier Australia, Elsevier Canada and other Elsevier.
