Ebook Central Turnaway alert at book level
Allow Turnaway alerts to be disabled in the Full Record View for individual titles (e.g., in Edit Book Level Permissions area). If a title is no longer available for sale on the platform and the library has made other arrangements to provide access, the Turnaway alerts are no longer used.

I fully support the suggested improvement for the Ebook Central admin portal. Having the option to disable turnaway alerts at the individual book level would significantly improve the platform's efficiency and user-friendliness. It can be frustrating for libraries that have already found alternative access solutions for certain titles to keep receiving these alerts.
ProQuest has acknowledged this idea for "future consideration," which shows that the team recognizes the potential value in this improvement. However, it would be great to understand more about what this consideration involves. Do they have any concrete plans or timelines for adding this feature? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

As long as you'd have to choose to opt out, as described here, or if you could toggle a single setting to disable them all at once: I've benefited from turnaway alerts for no-longer-sold books, e.g. finding another book on the same topic, and I wouldn't want to lose them. It would be nice if ProQuest could make these alerts optional for people who don't want them, but disabling them altogether would hurt me, and it would be an inordinate amount of work if I had to re-enable alerts for all no-longer-sold books one at a time.
