Access Member holdings first
As a member library of one or more Consortia, we want the option to give the patron access to the copy of the title that I own, when my holdings overlap with a parent consortium.

Even if an unlimited user license is purchased, the patron view of the title still defaults to the 3-user level. It would be very helpful to us at the University of Florida if ProQuest implemented any changes which would allow individual institution licenses (especially when they provide a higher level of access) to be displayed to patrons, instead of the confusing “copies” statement.

We are persistently getting requests to upgrade ebooks that we have an unlimited user access license for, due to the consortia copy, or copies overriding any other licensed copy, even if they provide a higher level of access. Having the licenses displayed as they are when logging in to the LibCentral Admin (see attached) would better represent the resource.

Within the IP range of one institution, if there is more than one owned license, instead of having the consortia level license as the default, it would be more reasonable that the message shows the one which allows more access.

I'd also like to request that this feature become implemented. I've spoken to my rep about this issue and he suggested that I put in a request. When we purchase a copy of a title, we often need it for a class or project. We do not want to burn through our consortia budget with triggered purchases.
