Can ProQuest develop Okta as an SSO option for Ebook Central?
Has ProQuest worked with any schools or organizations to use Okta for SSO?
If Okta SSO for Ebook Central can be developed, will it also work to sign students into their "My Research" accounts when they are using the other ProQuest research databases?
If an SSO solution is implemented for off campus and BYOD students, can "on campus" users still get ProQuest access by IP authentication?
What steps would be involved in implementing SSO with ProQuest?

We would like to be able to include the STL price and the purchase price in the Short Term Loan Alert emails that go out to staff, but those alerts are not customizable. They were customizable in EBL. I contacted support about it shortly after we upgraded and they told me it was not possible in Ebook Central.
We use that information to decide if we want to go ahead and purchase the ebook after fewer STLs than the default. Not having that information immediately available in the email means we have to go look for it somewhere else.1 vote

Would like to ‘share’ copies of ebooks with other institutions via inter-library loan. Of course, we don’t want to give our last copy, but it seems like we should be able to share our licenses because we are not creating additional copies. Ideally, this would work the same way returnables work. It’s also important that this not only work with Alma libraries, but libraries with a variety of ILSes.6 votes

I want to enable downloading from the Online Reader only for DDA purchases (to force users to at least look at the book before triggering an STL), but allow downloading from the title page for owned/subscribed titles.2 votes
Allow Turnaway alerts to be disabled in the Full Record View for individual titles (e.g., in Edit Book Level Permissions area). If a title is no longer available for sale on the platform and the library has made other arrangements to provide access, the Turnaway alerts are no longer used.1 vote
As a member library of one or more Consortia, we want the option to give the patron access to the copy of the title that I own, when my holdings overlap with a parent consortium.0 votes
