Allow Checklist to be Viewed by Students
Currently, there is a “View Checklist”, which is only visible by an admin. I have to complete this checklist before I can “Accept” a dissertation for publishing. It would be nice to have this checklist also student-facing. The student shouldn’t be able to make edits, but should be visible for viewing purposes, so they can see what information I need and what has been collected (or completed) so far. If institutions do not want the students to see their internal checklist, they should have the option (under “Manage Site”) to simply turn it off.

Customize FTP report email
I had put in a ticket and it was suggested I post here.
I'd like to be able to customize the information in the FTP report email. There are staff members who receive the email and do not have access to the admin portal.
Currently the email includes: ID, Submission ID, File name, Title, Author, Delivered date, and status
I'd also like to see: Institutional Repository Publishing Options, Creative Commons License, and email1 vote -
Student author permission to view committee review page.
The number one question from students is who has approved their thesis. I have to look it up and tell them. If they could view it, that would be a tremendous help. We use this function for the final authorization of the document now that we have gone paperless. I would also like a separate spot like thesis adviser for department administrator in the ETD section.

Add possibility for 3 (or more) co-major professors
Increase from limit of 2 co-major professors. Idea presented on behalf of Iowa State.

Configure Administrative Document requirements by degree type
The Administrative Documents page is used to collect additional documents from students that are not directly related to the ETD submission process (e.g. Graduation exit surveys, approval forms, etc.). These documents can be made required or optional. However, some documents may be applicable to doctoral students but not masters, or vice-versa (e.g., Survey of Earned Doctorates).
Consider allowing an Administrative Document to be required for Masters students only or for Doctoral students only.
