Patrons can share annotations
Users should be able to share highlights/annotations on a book. This is useful if a professor wants to share their notes on a book, or have everyone read and note-take together. See hypothes.is for the type of functionality we're looking for (we can't even use hypothes.is in Ebook Central as a workaround, because we can't select text normally). Thanks!

Move the carousel up to the top.
Those of us that don't have many titles, we would like to showcase them at the top. A little overwhelming, if this is your first time to the website then you start searching and don't find a title. Users may become frustrated.

We have disabled the “Download Book” link for ProQuest ebooks. Is there any way to have this button removed from the item page? We’ve found
We have disabled functionality of the “Download Book” option in Ebook Central. We would like to suggest the option to also have this button removed from pages for titles when this function is disabled. Having it appear on this page when the function is disabled is proving to be confusing for some of our students, and we have received several complaints.

Patrons can export highlights
I'd like to get PDFs with my comments and highlights
I would like to be able to print out or create PDFs of Ebook Central’s books with the highlights and comments that I leave on my Bookshelf Account. Currently, the created PDFs cannot show any annotations I leave on the books. It will be very nice to have the option of displaying the highlights in the PDFs as they are added and showing the comments on either left or right side of the file.17 votesThank you all for your feedback on this enhancement request! Select PDF or EPUB
If an ebook is available in both PDF and EPUB format, the reader displays the PDF only. You have no chance to display the EPUB format. It would be very helpful for mobile device to have the opportunity to select which format should be displayed and downloaded.

Alter the default Subject wording when "sending" an eBook folder
Currently says "An eBooks folder has been sent to you". To the receiver it appears to come from ebooksupport @ proquest. . . with no hint as to actual sender unless they have altered the message! Would be more helpful if it could be: [Your Name] has sent you an eBooks folder
Where Your Name is in italics or perhaps even . . .has sent you an eBooks folder so hopefully prompting the sender to edit.2 votesThank you all for your feedback on this enhancement request! We will keep this in mind for future consideration.

Pop up to inform users of implications of downloading to a public computer
At the moment there is a pop up that asks users whether they are using a private or public computer but no prompt is given for either choice - need a pop-up customisable by the library to explain implications of using a public computer

Patrons can clearly see turnaway message; Librarians can customize turnaway message
Ebook Central turnaway messages
The existing turnaway message that users are given is hidden in not very clear text, in the middle of the screen, amoungst other things. a student with sight issues flagged this as hard to see, and they are right. The current message of 'All copies are currently in use' should be in bold, or make much clearer in any other way.
Even the ability to customise this message would be useful.

Chapter level linking in EBC
In light of recent updates to Primo regarding chapter level indexing. We would like to pursue the ability to link to the chapter level. Since a user can drill down to the chapter level in Primo, when they link out to the ebook in Ebook Central, they are taken to the book level and are then forced to locate their specific chapter again. We feel that this is a step backwards. Especially for the same company. Please consider this linking enhancement for a better user experience.

Accuracy in EBA availability
Is there any way to make the “Not available” bigger, or to suppress the record in the first place? It’s kind of misleading….

Password repetition
For avoiding typos and also for safety reasons the password should be entered twice while creating/requesting a patron account.

Be able to limit searches by pagination.
Surprisingly, teachers want to be able to select course readings by page length. They want to search for books that are say less than 100 pages, less than 150 pages, etc.

Truncation for full text searches
Righthad truncation wildcard * does not work for the full text search (search within the ebook). Researches need this functionality with in the content!

Description and/or TOC search
I am writing to ask if ProQuest would consider adding an option to search eBook Central by description and/or table of contents.

Change "Update Selected" or add link "Add to List" in LibCentral platform
In LibCentral, for ordering eBooks, to add titles to a list you have to choose "Update selected" which makes no sense for adding to a list.
If you provided a link to "Add to List" or change "Update Selected" to "Add to List" it would make more sense. You have "Add to Cart" in the license type, but if you do that, you still view them as a list then add them, so it's more time consuming. Just change update selected to Add to list.1 vote -
Export citations for "EndNote/Citavi" are in difficult to use format
Exporting citations for "EndNote/Citavi" appear to normally result in file download named:
biblioExport.action
The customer reports (and I confirmed) that doesn't open seamlessly with Chrome on a Mac with EndNote.
Customer asks, your KB article says the files "should be downloaded as a .action or .ris file into your Downloads folder". Why not always one or the other (preferably .ris files)?
