Biographies/Famous People
Will you please add a page for famous people and animals? My fourth grade students need this information for their research. Please note, I am not looking to duplicate the biographical databases. I am simply looking for a paragraph or two about famous people or animals. Of course, biographies would be welcome too.

Include a quick-reference comparison to the US dollar in "Money/Economy"
1) I like how the Kids Edition includes a link to "Money and Economy" - could the World Edition's "Economy" link also say "MONEY"? Some of my students switch between the two editions to find all their info.
2) While I know not all users are in the United States, would it be possible to include a quick-reference within the Money link that shows how that country's currency compares to one U.S. dollar? My language teachers like to ask students to find that more often than extensive economic information.11 votes -

Add more interviews
I’m requesting the addition of more interviews. Also, if it’s possible, students would like to be able to listen to these interviews or watch videos of them.

Add French Guiana
We would like a CultureGrams Kids and World profile for the territory of French Guiana. We’ve noticed that while most profiles are of countries, there are some territories as well (Montserrat, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, etc.), so reports on French Guiana would make the product more complete.

Introductory Country Videos
Many of my students are new English Language Readers & Listeners. I am not certain that my students understand the Kids' edition. It would be nice to have a short (<5 minute) video introducing the country as well as some pertinent & popular information. This could be done for the country as a whole as well as by individual sections.
Thank you.

Deaf Culture
I would really like to see Deaf culture added to these. Maybe start with American Sign Language and go from there.

Include more interviews of students of students from the United States.
Hi CultureGrams,
My students were studying the interviews of students from around the world. They were creating a poll to compare interviewees favorite sports and subjects in school and their own classroom polls. They were so disappointed when there was not one interview of a student from the United States!
