Any way a history class can search Jim Crow Laws by state? Please let me know if I'm missing it! Thanks!
APUSH class will be researching Jim Crow Laws by state. I wish I could direct them to CultureGrams State Edition!

U.S. Colonialism and Government
My teachers would use it more if there was greater alignment to the social studies common core for 4th and 5th.

Biographies/Famous People
Will you please add a page for famous people and animals? My fourth grade students need this information for their research. Please note, I am not looking to duplicate the biographical databases. I am simply looking for a paragraph or two about famous people or animals. Of course, biographies would be welcome too.

Languages other than English
Have you considered making Culture Grams available in other languages (particularly Spanish?) There are some World Language teachers at my school who prefer their students to do research in the languages they're learning.

Mexican States edition
It would be great if you had a Mexican States edition, similar to the U.S. States and Canadian Provinces editions you already offer especially since the three countries are more closely linked today.

Make it easier to select countries during graph creation
When creating a table, countries and attributes can be selected and de-selected using check boxes. When creating a graph, students have to use control-click to select choices. This is a real nuisance for kids using touch screens, and a stumbling block for everyone else. Can all country and attribute selection be made with check boxes? Thanks!

Include a quick-reference comparison to the US dollar in "Money/Economy"
1) I like how the Kids Edition includes a link to "Money and Economy" - could the World Edition's "Economy" link also say "MONEY"? Some of my students switch between the two editions to find all their info.
2) While I know not all users are in the United States, would it be possible to include a quick-reference within the Money link that shows how that country's currency compares to one U.S. dollar? My language teachers like to ask students to find that more often than extensive economic information.11 votes -
More audio files
I noticed you have audio files that play foreign terms for some countries. It would be nice if you could add these to all of the countries.

Teacher resources
It would be helpful if all teacher resources are placed on one page (i.e. things such as tools, teaching activities, and common core and other curriculum standards). Links in the Teaching Activities PDF would also be helpful.

Holidays and Celebrations around the World
It would be nice to have a section on holidays and celebrations around the world, and maybe even sorted out by month. This way they would be easy to compare instead of going country by country

We would love for there to be citations generated for everything, like the maps, or the Did You Know? on the landing page...
The maps and some of the information do not generate citations, so the students cannot cite the maps or the fun info on the main page.

Regional info
Please add more information on all regions, since that is the primary way in which we teach world geography. We don’t have time to get down to the country level, except to use as examples.

Make a topic filter for countries
A feature where you can filter topics when searching for countries (ex: Religion, Art, Economy, History, etc.) This would make it easier to find articles about countries and to find specific articles about certain topics about that country.

FIX THE AUDIO FILES
I have noticed some of the audio files sometimes blank out and skip that part. I think that you should fix it so then I can listen more clearly!

Chinese Divisions(provinces, special administrative regions, municipalities, and autonomous regions) Edition
It would be great if you had a Chinese Provinces edition, similar to the U.S. States and Canadian Provinces editions you already offer especially since China is a large and diverse part of today's world.
