Oasis should have the capability to download an entire search result. Currently, it appears a user can only add up to 200 records at a time to a list and then download the list. We should be able to download an entire search result without adding a small number to a list repeatedly.1 vote
It would be helpful to be able to search for titles profiled in OASIS on awards or review criteria. Can a field or filter be added to enable this?1 vote
Can you display the "Not Available: No sales rights in your region" phrase in the Title Details tab and the "Not Available" phrase in the title record, in RED LETTERS. Presently they are in black letters and hard to spot. I consider these phrases as a Status or a Cancellation, which you display in red or orange letters.39 votes
A vertical split screen, as opposed to the current horizontal split screen, would better utilize the computer monitor's screen space. I could scroll through my list on the left, while easily viewing the order or title information on the right. Currently, I have barely enough room on the screen to view two titles on the top split and still see the order/title information on the bottom split.27 votes
With the recent release of the new checkout experience, we are excited to announce that we will now begin scoping out and implementing a new search browsing experience. This new experience will make much better use of screen real estate and allow you to browse titles in a much more user-friendly manner. We have designed and tested the new concept and received lots of positive feedback from our users.
This will be a large project and will likely take 5+ months to build. I will keep you posted as we reach milestones.
There should be an easy way (such as a checkbox) to exclude self-published titles from all searches. We are generally not interested in self-published works, but they often dominate our search results. At the very least, we should be able to exclude certain publishers by default (such as the largest self-publishing imprints, CreateSpace, AuthorHouse, Lulu.com, Nobel Press, etc.). This can currently be done by filtering search results, but it’s not at all practical because it has to be done with every single search, for each individual self-publishing imprint.11 votes
When submitting an iFound order, currently the user can only add it to their 'iFound List'. It would be useful to be able to pick which List to send the iFound order to, as it saves the time of currently spent going into the iFound List and then moving the order to the chosen List/Shopping cart2 votes
